There can also be scalar and vector pipelining in terms of processable objects.

Single-function pipeline: only one such as multiplication or floating point operation is completed, which is mostly used in digital signal processors (DSP), and each processor can complete its own functions in parallel to speed up the processing speed of the whole machine.
Multifunctional pipeline: Different functional pipeline technology can be completed in different situations
